FREE ASSOCIATION IS:
Ken (L) and Ike (R).
...a podcast about music by two brothers who like music. One plays drums; the other plays guitar (and some bass, and some drums). They both like a variety of genres -- one is maybe a bit more into jazz, the other a bit more into metal and hip hop. They both collect records, and they've both been in bands. Their favorite times are sharing great songs with one another -- sometimes songs they both know, sometimes one bringing the other into new territory.
...a podcast that recreates the experience of listening to music in your car, letting one song dictate what you play next. Or being at a party with someone's phone plugged into the stereo, everyone queueing up the next song based on what the one playing makes them think of. It's about loving music for everything it is -- big and small, lyric and auditory, funny and weird and amazing and just cool.
...equal parts My Brother, My Brother, and Me and Theme Time Radio Hour, with maybe a dash of Song Exploder. It's like if the 1978 BBC documentary TV series Connections had a baby with a Tiny Desk Concert. It's like if the Spotify algorithm gained sentience and started a podcast.
